Subculture Taxi



The Subculture Taxi can be seen out and about in Birmingham each and every week.
And now we’re gonna tell you about how you can save money if you spot it, and also how you can book it for a Saturday night to make your night out that little bit special.

Firstly, if you should spot the Taxi driving around Birmingham & the West Midlands then hail it with a devil horns salute and the driver (usually DJ Jim) will pull over and hand you tickets for free admission to that Saturday’s Subculture.

The Taxi can regularly be seen around Selly Oak, Erdington & Aston areas and the only place this offer is not valid is outside the Academy (he has to park sometimes….). So, to save yourself money keep your eyes peeled for the Subculture Taxi.

Right, if you want to book the Subculture Taxi for a Saturday night then read on.

The Taxi is available on a first come first served basis to parties of five people within Birmingham. The Taxi will pick up your party from a single point of collection at 9.40pm and take you straight to The Academy with rock music blaring out all the way, where driver DJ Jim will queue-jump you through the doors into Subculture.

Later in the evening your party of five will be invited onto the stage to join the luscious Sub-Girls as that weeks Taxi party and given a bottle of fizzy stuff to share between you. The charge for the Taxi party package is £25 (£5 per head admission, no reduction for members - sorry), which includes the pick-up and entrance to the club.

To book the taxi send an e-mail to subculturerocks@aol.com with ‘Taxi Booking’ in the subject line. Please include the full address of the pick-up, the date you wish to book, and a contact telephone number for the night.

We will then reply to tell you the booking has been confirmed or if somebody else has already booked that date. A full list of available dates and confirmations will be listed on the forum permanently.
